This is the second year that I will be hosting the Enrolled Agent Firm Bootcamp. I wanted to take this time to explain what the Enrolled Agent Firm Bootcamp is, my vision behind it, and who it's for.
I'll also give you some insight into how this year's agenda will go.
What is the Enrolled Agent Firm Bootcamp?
I created the Enrolled Agent Firm Bootcamp as an in-person event to help Enrolled Agents learn the firm basics. The event not only equips you with the skills you need to run your firm. It will also help you build a community of people you can bounce ideas off of as you grow and handle cases. Then you'll leave with a marketing plan to help you bring new clients and cases into your firm.
If you're familiar with me, you know that I stand ten toes down on the fact that I believe all Enrolled Agents should offer tax representation. But a lot of courses I've viewed don't take the time to explain what tax representation is. They get too technical and talk above the Enrolled Agent's head.
The Enrolled Agent Firm Bootcamp is my effort to make the fundamentals of tax representation and running a firm more accessible to tax professionals who may not have a tax or accounting background.
My Vision for the Enrolled Agent Firm Bootcamp
I discovered the Enrolled Agent license a decade ago. When I found it, I was so confused as to how I graduated with an accounting degree and did 3 busy seasons in public accounting without knowing what this was.
That's when my search began to find information on how to become one, then how to start and run a firm. The information was scarce. It's easier to find bookkeeping, CPA, or even accounting communities. I was able to build my firm by taking bits and pieces from those other communities and some tax attorneys.
I didn't want it to be that way for Enrolled Agents coming behind me. I wanted to spread the word about the designation and help others avoid some of the stumbling blocks I encountered.
I envision the Enrolled Agent Firm being an annual event and hub to answer all questions related to the Enrolled Agent license. To equip Enrolled Agents with things they didn't even know they needed and provide a place to build authentic professional relationships.

The 2026 Enrolled Agent Firm Bootcamp Itinerary
2025 was year one for the bootcamp. We were small but mighty with 12 attendees. I loved the experience and will always appreciate each and every one who came. Those are the "Rookies".
We had a great time. But I taught every class and figured out what I'd need on the backend. I appreciate those attendees for taking a chance on me, a girl from Indiana who just wants to help other Enrolled Agents build their business.
This year I won't be doing everything all by myself, and I'm glad about it. This is what this year's agenda will look like. All times are Eastern.

The event location is 15 -20 minutes from the airport. Here is a list of hotels that are within walking distance (5-10 minutes without crossing a major street) of the conference center.

1 - Purchase your tickets now! Plan accordingly, Louisville weather can change before you blink. Bring a sweater or jacket for the conference center.
2 - Your dinner on Thursday and Friday is covered by your host. Andrew Mullins, with Paychex, has taken care of your lunch on Friday. You are responsible for your own breakfast each day and snacks. Water and coffee will be in the conference room.
3 - Check out flights. The Louisville airport is small. You may not be able to get a direct flight. We will respect your time on Saturday so you can catch afternoon flights to get back home on time.
4 - Book your hotel room. Keep in mind that you are responsible for your own breakfast. You may want to book a room that includes breakfast.
